Games & Projects

Works I have been a part of in recent years. Some of these are completed projects, but others are still ongoing and will be updated over time!
Row Britannia
This game was made in collaboration with Row Britannia 2020 and combines the virtual world with real-life activities. With a goal of collectively rowing 2020 miles by the end of March, players can take up their seat at a connected rowing machine and move the on-screen boat by doing some exercise!
My role in this task was 3D modeller and level designer, creating models of famous Bristol landmarks for players to see as they sail through the game's river and out to sea.
Pathfinder
Pathfinder was my Master's dissertation project. It allows a user to create or load in a map of tiles, set a start and end point, customise character traits of the traveller and then observe a modified A* algorithm traverse the network, taking into account not just distance but also what exists on each tile in relation to their given trait.
ALTR
A local multiplayer competitive-collaborative project. Each player controls a shape with their own unique ability, and pressing different buttons applies that ability to certain coloured shapes. Get every player to the end flag to win!
On this project, I created the art assets, sourced and compiled the audio and programmed the players' abilities.

Homeward
Created at the Global Game Jam 2019. A mobile infinite runner in which the player controls a flock of ducks flying over different terrains to see how far they can migrate!
The 3D models, textures, logo and animations were created by me on this project, as well as minor development after the conclusion of the GGJ. This project is ongoing!
LeapMol
A project overseen by a lecturer at the University of Nantes. This program combines the intuitive controls of Leap Motion with a JMol-like molecular visualiser and a Looking Glass monitor to produce molecules which can be moved in 3D space.
Incorporated with existing code, I created the visualiser scene and UI, coded the Leap Motion integration and produced a file load-in script to read in xyz files of molecule data.
Foundry Trophy
A trophy made using themes from PlayWest's HQ, to be printed and used as awards for various events/projects. In the case of events, the top of the model can be modified to add an extra event-specific piece e.g. a boat for Row Britannia.
Scarab Guardian
A personal project to create a scarab-inspired Guardian from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This project is ongoing.
